2001 Ford Mondeo engine light is on, on the dashboard

had mot yesterday it failed on cv boot and rear brakes, had them fixed, today took it back to garage as there was a scrapping noise coming from the front when I turned left, took it back and it was a washer from when they did the cv boot. Now my partner took car out and the yellow engine light is on can anyone help?

You will have to have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to verify where the fault lies. But it will have nothing to do with the repair work you have had carried out. The light is connected to emmissions and powertrain?
