2006 Ford Fusion V4 Two Wheel Drive Manual 15000 miles

My car is having a high coolent consumption right from the day I bought it. Many checks were done but no external leakge was found. After this cylinder head was examined and was found that the distortion in the head was exceeding the limit of 0.03 mm, it was actually 0.06 mm. After this the head was replaced. But still the problem is the same.I want you to suggest me the next step. How this problem can be solved.I may remind you that intake manifold has been checked and test compression has also been done before it was found that the distortion limit of the head is more than it should be. You may please suggest the next thing to be done in this case.I'll de highly thankful to you.

Hi there,

A detailed close inspection of the spark plugs can pin point a suspect cylinder. Coolant will leave a dirty brown stain on the white of the central electrode isolator. Often shaded to one side. If a borescope is available you may be able to inspect the crown of the cylinder to confirm if there has been any washing by the coolant, internally the coolant is heated to super hot steam and it has the effect of washing the carbon deposits from the crown of the cylinder. As to where it is coming from, has a porous head been considered, is there water jackets in the inlet manifold, (we don't have this engine in Australia) If there is no external leak, then first confirm the cylinder that the coolant is entering, that may help narrow down your possibilities.
