I'm hoping that one of the experts here can help me out. The biggest problem now is a weak start. It will turn a few times, sort of sputter, and then start. However, this only happens when the air is on, not A/C, just air. How are these linked?

The only connection I can see is voltage. Try turning batt charger on car with air on see if adding more voltage works.

Thanks for getting back to me. Are you saying to connect the battery to a charger, and then attempt to start the car with the air on to see if that solves the problem? Is it not a battery issue?

Yes we are trying to determine if low batt voltage is the culprit here. If so then we can try and fix that prob

I took it into Autozone where they'll do a diagnostic on your battery, alternator, and starter. He said everything checked out on those. I've been advised to clean the corrosion off the of the battery connectors.
