ENGINE HAD MISFIRE CODE PO-302. I ERASED CODE AND IT CAME BACK. HAS NEW WIRES AND I LOOKED AT PLUGS. LOOK OK SO I SWAPED # 2 PLUG WITH # 4 AND CHECK ENGINE LITE OR CODE NEVER CAME BACK BUT MISS AT IDLE IS STILL THERE. CHECKED KV ON PLUG WIRES WITH ENGINE RUNNING AND THEY READ AS FOLLOWS #1 READ ABOUT 32KV AND #2&4 READ ABOUT 8KV. COULD WE HAVE A PC OR IGNITION COIL PROBLEM. ARE THE CYLS PAIRED ON THIS ENGINE. SEEM TO RUN FINE ON THE ROAD.

P0302

Should lead you to check sparkplug/compression and injector for no.2 cyl

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
