My car is shaking a lil when I apply the brakes new rotors and brakes have already been applied. Wondering id it may be my cv joint and how do I tell if my boot is bad

The boot is bad if it is ripped/torn and allowing grease to escape ..a bad CV should not really make the wheel shake !! have the tech who replaced the pads and rotors recheck the repair first !!
