2000 Ford Focus Engine management light on. Making squie

Hi ive just bought ford focus only had car day and started to making squieling noise and when put foot down on gas gets louder.
the engine management light is staying on.
What could this be?
looking at timing belt it hasnt long been done

Check where the squealer is coming from is it the T/Belt, drive belts or the driven components also you need to have the computer scanned for code/s.
