2000 Ford Fiesta 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

hi guys iv just put a engine in my w reg fiesta diesel I took the engine from a v reg fiesta I just changed the whole lot engine pump gear box the problem im having now is that it wont turn over from the key iv tested the starter with cross connecting with a screw driver and it turns over fine do I have to change the ecu aswell or do I have to get it remapped hope you can help

Is the replacement engien a deisel >. If so the Computer should not need changeing or flashing. As long as the engine is from the same year etc. Etc. . Check you have all wiring connected correctly !

Hi the engine is taken from a v reg ford fiesta diesel. And the one iv put it into a is a w reg ford fiesta diesel all wiring is done correct but still no joy on the key have you any idea where the location of the ecu on these cars are thanks hope you can help

The PCM is usually located under the centre of the dash. Is the vehicle cranking or totally dead?
