1996 Ford F-250 Water damage

I have a 1996 ford f 250 7.3 xlt powerstroke deisel wich was recently stolen and recovered but had to be pulled out of six foot of water. I was wordering if you could tell me if the engine was savable there was water in the turbo, no water in the oil and water in the gas I cant get it to crank over at all it just makes a click

Hi there,

Pull the glow plugs or injectors, turn the engine over and check that there is no water in the engine, my main concern is water in the engine and the transmission, also drain all diffs and the transfer any water in drive line oil must be replaced ASAP.
