1996 Ford F-250 slipping in reverse

Have bout 70000 miles on rebuilt tranny by aamco slips in reverse but will move one day it went bang and started backing up under good power but was shaking 2 days later it was back doing the same slipping thing its like its not fully engaging used some lucas trans additive didnt change a thing no problem with forward gears just reverse thanks

Hi there,

You better get a trans shop to inspect this for you, the bang does not sound good, and you may have a faulty servo or a damaged reverse band.
