I recently installed a new camper shell on my 2003 F-150 and I need to install lights inside it. Is there a always hot 12volt wire that I can connect to in the rear cab or under the truck in the bed area.
Im sure that Ford would have a factory installed wire just for this purpose but I don't know were to find it or what color wire to be looking for?

Thank you for your time as any answers will be greatly appreaciated.

If your truck has the tow package, it might have a hot wire in the trailer harness, for charging a battery, runninglights, ect, in trailers. And if so you will be able to tap into that wire.

No factory hook-up, make your on from the battery with no.12 stranded wire thru a toogle switch and to the camper

It'll be perfect if your electrical system is a dual battery type.
