OK, I feel kind of dumb, but I can't seem to get the alternator out of my 2001 F150 w/ the 4.2 V-6.
I've gotten the two long bolts out that are obvious from the top, removed the AC canister thingy that's fastened on the side, what next?
How is the tension taken off the belt?
Thanks,
T

There should be a tensioner arm that has a pulley on it. You should be able to put a wrench on it and turn the bolt through the center of it to release tension on the belt.
