I have just had my windshield replaced resently and now I have a strange problem. The repair was done on a rainy day. I put the truck in the garage for the service to be done and left it overnight before trying to move the truck. I went to start it and it would not start. I noticed that the chimes you hear when you turn the key on were making noise the minute I opened the door and the stereo that normally goes on with the key was on all the time. I checked the fuses and battery but they were good. I checked cables and wires and played with the ignition for awhile and finally got it to start. I figured the person fixing the windshield must have gotten the electricals wet somehow when doing the replacement so when I got it started I left it out in the sun to dry out. It started later in the day and by the next day all the little crazy things (chimes, radio, etc.)Were back to normal, or so I thought. Now everytime we get a heavy rain the truck will not start and the querky electrical stuff starts happening again. I have done my own repairs for years and although I don't do this for a living, I am pretty good at it. This one has me stumped. I can't really understand what changing the windshield would have to do with any of this, but I can't ignore the the fact it all stated after the repair. I need your help. Thank's Anthony C.

I would check for any wires that run to the dome light at the A pillars, and even at the rear view mirror, The installer may have nicked a wire in there with his knife, an it's grounding out where it shouldn't be.
