I have a 1998 Ford F150. The passenger pwr window quit working some time ago. Recently the driver side window has quit working. I did measure voltage at the motor and it was just under 9v. The weather turned much cooler and for some reason the window started working again. Then it stopped. Then it was good for 2 days. Now it does not work again. I did NOT get a chance to meas the voltage at the motor while it was working. That's my bad. I am thinking I have a low voltage at motor problem and maybe not a bad motor. What do you think? Is there a voltage regular going to these window motors that could be defective? What shall I try next?

9V is low it should read battery volts on one side and ground on the other with the switch applied
check make sure u have a good ground
if not check wiring and switch
if you have battery volts and ground then motor no good
