1998 Ford F-150 code 1538 imrc (98 F-150)

Code 1538 came up. Told either vacuum leak, imrc solenoid, or imrc motor(s). Cant find vacuum leak. Dont want to tear the plenum, throttlebody, etc. Truck runs to good to tear apart.(V6). Looking for connectors in back of manifold. Are they inside?Only problem is using too much fuel? Any help is appreciated thanxs mike

Look for broken connectors from the IMRC motor to the intake runner control arms, they are plastic and break easily. If ok, you will probably have to tear it apart to fix it regardless
