No heat and overheating. I replaced the t stat and now does not overheat but still no heat. Flushed heater core and still only 1 hose gets hot. Did not find any leaks could core still be bad or what else can I try. And I let truck run for about 30 min with radiator cap off to bleed air from system. Thank you for your help

Hi there,

If you have good flow through the heater core, I would be checking that the heater tap is OK, did you flush through the tap as well or after it?

I flushed the system. Took the t stat back out made sure it was working right. I dont know what else to try. I looked it up in the haynes repair book and I said something about a heater control valve. But didnt say what it was or where its was. Got anymore ideas
