1997 Ford F-150 Corrective action and required repairs to CL

The same tool u used to get the codes should help u clear them code
also disconnecting the battery will do so (clear the codes )

the issue is that u need a sticker and doing that will not work
u have to fix the truck
see u still can get rejected because the monitoring system in the truck was cleared and it will show that its not ready
and then u have to complete a drive cycle with out any codes to get the sticker

p0136 O2 sensor circuit
p0401 egr
p0306 misfire on cylinder # 6

my suggestions do a tune up or at least check cyl. #6
check EGR valve and it DP sensor and hoses
before the sticker

most common with that code is the EGR sensor
I would check it hoses and connector
check EGR passages and clean as needed
90 % of the time we found replacing the sensor solved the problem .

code p0306

cylinder # 6 is a misfiring
start by checking the tune up

exhaust system leak
defective O2 sensor bank1 sensor 2
