Hi there,

You have to remove the transmission to access the fly wheel/ Drive plate. if you intend to do this work your self, you would be better of to get hold of a work shop manual, as this will give you a step by step guide with photos to assist you. Basically remove battery cable, starter motor. disconnect all electricals from transmission, disconnect selector and speedo drive, remove tail shaft, support transmission and remove cross member, remove access for torque converter and undo, remove bell housing bolts, with draw transmission, unbolt drive plate from crank shaft. The transmission is heavy and you will require a transmission jack to support and with draw.
