Electrical problem
1997 Ford F-150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 0

I am towards the end of putting in a rebuilt motor. I have all the clips on the wiring harness connected. There is one that I cannot find the sensor or place that it connects to. It is the grey clip on the end of the wiring harness on the drivers side. It leads off of the oil temp sensor (on the block mounted engine oil cooler). I need some help. I am ready to start up but cannot find this last connection.

It could be for something that your truck is not equipped with. I would start it the way it is and if there is a sensor missing, it may not start or at least will turn the check engine light on to tell you where to look.
Make sure all your O/2 sensors are plugged in. They use gray plugs on some of them.

I have been researching online and I think it is the connection for the block heater that I do not have. The O2 sensors are in my case green and I am sure that those connections are correct. Thanks for the input it gives me some confidence to finally fire it up.
