I removed the master brake cylinder from the truck and proceeded to rebuild it. I removed the true arc or clip from the rear end of the unit expecting the insides would drop out. They didn't so I fooled around trying to get it to drop out without any success. I then notice a set screw on bottom of the brake cylinder and removed it with no success of the internal part dropping out. Next I tried to remove the plastic brake fluid resevor on top of the brake cylinder by pulling on it without success. It has two connections to the brake cylinder appears to be pressed into a rubber collar, and I don't know how much force it would take without damaging it. The purpose of removing it is to look for some kind of release device to free the internal parts.
