What is involved in changeing a straight 6 out and replace it with a v8 302? Trans is 5 speed.

We recommend staying with a direct fit replacement. When you change, everything must be changed with it. You need, different motor mounts, vacuum harness, wiring harness, computer.

It can be done, but because of the amount of work and new parts you'll need, I don't recommend it.
