1983 Ford F-100 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

my alternator is chargeing but no fire is going to my batt.I have replace the alternator twice and the voltage regalator and there is still no charge to the batt. What can I do?

Disconnect the wiring connector on the voltage regulator and jumper A to F and see if it'll charge the battery

Ok I did that and it started to charge but my batt. Light is staying on.I think it might be over charging.

If its overcharging best check the voltage regulator
