2002 Ford Explorer transmission problem

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS with automatic transmission. When is shifts into what seems to be 5th or 6th gear at about 45 mph the car shakes or rumbles as if it is running over ripples in the road. This is the only times it does it. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Do any lights come on when this happens, od light or check engine light?

I would suspect a torque converter shudder by how you explained it, you can alway run it to a tranny shop, they all with diagnose the problem for free, its just hard to say for sure, but the converter sounds like it is shuddering
