Hello, I have a 2002 Ford Explorer with 108,000 miles, my battery was original from day one. The funny thing was when the battery light went on all of the guages in the car were dead and I made it home before it died. So on Friday and I purchased a new battery and it was just fine until Sunday when the battery light went back on and I had the same problem with all the guages dead. So I turned around to go back home with the car not able to travel faster then 15 miles per hr. And I had the foot down and gas pedal praying to make it home wich I did make. PLEASE HELP

With Ford's if the battery dies, and you drive it, the alternator also dies, replace both at the same time, or fully recharge the battery and replace the alternator, before you start it again! Check the cables out too!
