While driving, I noticed my A/C quit blowing cold air. The blower fan still worked, but apparently the compressor quit running. I then noticed the battery indicator light was on and my alternator gauge was reading very low. The truck ran fine all the way home. After I parked, I tried to restart the truck and it started normally, with no noticeable battery drain. I tried again this morning and the truck started normally again. I did notice the altrnator guage needle did quiver when turn signals were used. Do I have a bad alternator?

IT sounds more like a bad connection. Is the AC working again? Also, I recommend taking the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store to have the alternator tested. Most do it for free. ALso, make sure the battery terminals are clean and tight.

Let me know what you find.
