I get a knocking noise that comes form the front of my suv when I go over 45 or when I put my foot on the brake to slow down over 45. What might that be?

I would start by checking the brakes. IF it happens when you hit the brakes, there is a good chance that the caliper is loose, of ou have a bad brake pad.

Check it and leat me know.
