For the past few weeks the idle in the car has been unusually high. When I am in drive the car idle moves the car to about ten to fifteen miles an hour And hovers just above 1200 rpm. Is there anything that I can do that wont cost a lot of money?

First check all vaccume hoses to throtle body to make sure none is lose or broken dry. Then remove the idle air control valve and clean the cylinder with wd40 just spray it in there remove excess and install it again and maybe it will fix it. If not possibly u need a new idle air control valve. Its location is on the thotle body. Go here to see what it looks like so you can find it easier. Www. Kragen. Com
