2003 Ford Expedition battery is discharging

2003 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

a month ago I put in a new battery because I woke up one morning a the truck was dead, assuming this was the problem.
Now it has happened again. If I charge the battery it will start but when I turn it off it will discharge again.
So I dissconnected the neg cable and charged it again and checked the volts it remained at 12.8 over nite. I connected the neg cable and the truck started. What kind of problem should I look for?

You have a short circuit within the electrical system -do the battery drain test below

I have the same problem. Were you able to determine what had caused this? Was it a short or the battery? If it was a short, what had caused the short? Thanks for your help
