Remove or disconnect the following:
Negative battery cable
Right side intermediate axle shaft
Right side splash shield and retainers
Drive belt
Alternator electrical connectors
Alternator.
Torque the mounting and adjusting bolts to 35 ft. lbs. (48Nm).
Install or connect the following:
Alternator ; Torque the bolts to 35 ft. lbs. (48 Nm).
Alternator electrical connectors
Drive belt
Right side splash shield and retainers
Right side intermediate axle shaft
Negative battery cable
