The check engine light came on and I pulled the code and it said P0402 egr flow excessive. any idea what that could be?

today is your lucky day. replace your dpfe sensor. this is the sensor that the 2 rubber hoses off the egr tube go to. its held in by 2 eight mm bolts and costs about 40 bucks. hope this helps
