My service engine soon light came on. Took it to an advanced auto parts. They ran their diagnostics and read catalytic converter. Light went off for a while. Came back on about a month later, and after a couple weeks I noticed that every once in a while it felt like it was stuttering when keeping a steady speed. No other problems I noticed. Since then it started happening more often. When driving up-hill it was much more noticeable. Eventually the service engine soon light began blinking for misfires. I stopped driving it the next day. But the day that happened (3 times in total) I noticed a popping sound if I accelerated to push it up the hill.

i planned on selling/trading in the car very soon. I would obviously like to sell a working vehicle, but it's not worth sinking much money into for me. I was told everything from spark plugs to fuel pump. What seems to be the best way to start the troubleshooting? Anything seem most likely and is there an easy/cheap fix?

Hi shawnxhalo,

P0303 = Misfire detection monitor.

P0455 = EVAP control system leak detected. ( No purge flow or large leak)

The diagnostic files are very large so I wll email them to you. Let me know if you do not receive them within a few hours.
