I had to replace the alternator on my wife's escort. It has a 2.0 sohc. I had the alternator tested before I put the new one in. The new one shows that it is in working order. The alternator is still not charging the battery. In fact the car isnt getting enough voltage from the alternator to stay running. The battery drains and the car dies. Any suggestions?
