1998 Ford Escort Battery

I acccidently hooked up the battery incorrectly. I put the neg. Cable to the positive and positive to the neg, it sparked and now nothing works and the car won't start. Where should I start checking to get it working again?

In your main fuse/relay box under the hood, replace the main power fuse link, usually 80A or 100A.
