1998 Ford E-Series Van my van shakes

Im not positive on the wheel drive type. But my van when I hit between 40-50 mph shakes bad then after 50 mph stops. Someone said they thought it was the coils. Someone else said the transmission is shot what do you think

Hi nuttabuttas,

You need to isolate he cause from the following.

1. Sparks and related items, (coils, leads, rotors etc)
2. EGR system
3. Drive trains U-joints.

Should not be trans problem asi it happens only at certain speed.
