1992 Ford Crown Victoria starter problems

Hello my car did not start just made a click noice I was told it was the selinoid, change it but did the same so I rebuit the starter and it turned on for a few days then did the same clicking noice so I went and got another rebuilt starter from another place and it turn on for a few days again then stop my step dad hits the starter and the car will go on what can it be please help im gong crazy and broke?

Hi: Had the same problem with 93 crn vic
drove me nuts!
Try inspecting & Cleaning male and female contacts at the quick disconnect on the solinoid, these should have some shine to assrue good contact, I folded some fine sand paper moving it in & out to clean the female connector.

Took me two weeks to find this.
