tried to remove fuel line but will not disconnect from duckbill fitting need help had tool and still it won't release. Any advice.

You probly got the wrong tool. It sould be a plastic round tool that fits exactly like the fuel line pipe. You may need to buy a pack that has a variety of those plastics tools to make sure you have the right size.
