What is the order of the spark plug wires as to which cables go to which spark plugs? I was replacing the intake manifold, wires, and plugs and lost track of where the wires go.

Hello everyone, I am in need of help with my crown Vic. I recently had the engine gaskets replaced. The engine has been installed and sounds great. I just need the correct firing order/timing order for my vehicle. There is lots of hesitation when driving the car. I was told its due to the firing order from the distributor. I need the correct firing pattern. Thanks for all your assistance.

The previous order given in the diagram is not correct. Is there any other order that can be used.

Engine Performance problem
1989 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i was previously sent the firing order for a 1989 Crown Victoria. It read as follows 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. G2247. I believe this is the incorrect firing order for my vehicle. Is there any information missing to obtain the correct firing order?

A 5.0L is a CID302 engine F/O 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, the distributor rotates counterclockwise

Good Luck
