Tempurature gauge reads hot

I recently had a diagnostic done on my car and everything came back normal, but my tempurature gauge still reads hot. I took it by the radiator shop and they tested it and said the tempurature was normal and he did not know why the tempurature was still reading hot. Any advice?
1998 Ford Contour
automatic 2 wheel drive

Okay what you do is is have the air contorller sensor replace but it should be fine becauce my car always acts like it going to get hot but I doesnt but it will trust me it will baby personal experinces it stays on the a or L of normal yeah same promblem here
