1998 Ford Contour Oil Filter

I know this is gonna sound like a dumb question but I cant find the oil filter on my 98 ford contour I couldnt see it from the top so I jacked it up and still couldnt see it from underneath

No question is a dumb question. Those filters can be difficult to find sometimes. They are usually packed tightly and become dirty and brown and just blend in with the rest of the engine compartment. The oil filter is best accessed from the passenger side front wheel well for the 2.0L engine.
