1995 Ford Contour cylinderi identification circuit failure

Check engine light stays on and when I check codes it says code 214 need to know what to check in order to fix it

The CID circuit is used to synchonize the fuel injector firing by the PCM, the signal starts with the Camshaft position sensor. It also includes the crank sensor and the PCM, Start with the cam sensor and related wires. Also the ICM, (ignition Module) could be no good.
