Car won't turn over after running out of gas

I drive a 1993 ford areostar, stick shift, 2 wheel drive, with only 107000 klm on it. I ran out of gas and now it won't turn over at all. I tried resetting the reset button the book suggested and we put about 7 gallons of gas in her. She still won't start. Do you have any suggestion for us.

I can almost certainly tell you it is the fuel pump, they go out when they are old and are ran out of fuel, as they are fuel cooled, it will easly overheat. Easiest way to check is disconnect line before fuel pump and turn the key, if not gas then check for 12v at fuel pump connector if you have voltage change the pump.
