Find a Mechanic

Please help me!
Where can I find a mechanic, auto shop that is willing to evaluate repairs done by a another auto mechanic shop?
I tried taking my vehicle to a auto repair shop to have them do a safety check on the suspension but when they noticed that the CV shaft was new. Well I was told that 'they don't check work done by another shop', "We don't do that"
I am having issues as to the performance, handling of my vehicle and concerned about the overall safety of my vehicle.

Question, what are the odds that both right and left new CV shafts, installed at same time, are defective?
