I was driving and my car just died and wouldn't fire so when checked the fan belt had split and on further inspection bits of the belt had got into the cam pullys, so cleaned it up and had to replace crank sensor, so timing was set up with new cam belt(old one didn't break) but no compression. So the head was taken off all valves are okay((not bent))and reseated. Head put back on still no compression also a new outer sensor ring(magnetic track)was fitted. When puy on dianostics it comes up "cam sensor out of range" and also its blowing fuel back out of "in let". Anyone have any idears? Cheers

We don't have the fiesta with a 1.4 in U.S. But from sounds of it it's not timed correctly and valves are letting compression out. I also see it's a diesel so I'd look there, but I'm not the sharpest guy on diesels either.

Oh I didn't know your site is in us, yes its the timing that its set up but there's no compression, changed crank sensor and the outer sensor ring. When turns over its spitting fuel out of inlets.

T doint then it's way out of time meaning the cam to valves so it willneed to be retimed correctly. I 'm imagining this is an overhead cam motor. If not then itmay have broken chain
