I recently had to replace my intake manifold because there was a crack where it connects to throttle body. So I did not take pictures of anything like I should have, and now after I put the new manifold in, I have an extra hose that Is in limbo. I have looked at diagram after diagram, Haynes book, online, but none of them can tell me where this hose connects to. It is currently coming out from the back of engine block, under the manifold gasket, driver side. I have checked n double checked the hoses connected to manifold and throttle body, but I still cannot figure it out. Please help!

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

When you say from the back of the engine block, the first thing I suspect is it is from the EVAP canister near the fuel tank to the purge solenoid. There is a vacuum chamber between the canister and the solenoid, so it may have come off there or the solenoid. (right near the EGR valve)

Take a look at the schematic I attached and let me know if it helps. I'm curious to know if that is it.

Take care,
Joe
