Just replaced accelerator sensor and now it seems my car is still missing. It's not running smooth at all. It did for a few days but now it's missing.

Hi,

Is the check engine light staying on or flashing when this happens?

If it is, then we need to determine which of the cylinders is causing the problem. The accelerator pedal position sensor won't cause a misfire, so it seems you are dealing with more than one issue.

If the check engine light is staying on, here is a link that explains the most common causes and a link that explains if it is safe to drive:

If the check engine light is staying on, the first thing I recommend doing is having the computer scanned to identify diagnostic trouble codes. Here is a quick video showing how it is done:

I realize most people don't own a scan tool, but most parts stores will do it free of charge. I recommend having that done. Once you do, let me know what codes were retrieved and it will direct me in the right direction to help.

Let me know.

Joe
