The car takes longer to start. It turns over but takes a few seconds to catch. Also a scraping noise is present after it is started constantly (idling or acceleration)

It sounds like you have a starter motor that is going bad. Does it seem like the starter is turning the engine to slow that's why it takes longer to start?

The starter isn't turning the engine too slow. And it will start every time I try, just with a more than normal delay. Dont want it to get worse
