Start up the car and have a rattle sound right away. I went ahead and replaced the belt and belt tensioner, yet still have the rattle sound

any suggestions?

Remove the belt again, then run the engine long enough to verify the noise is gone. If it is, check the idler pulleys and generator pulley for looseness. If the noise is still there, suspect a worn timing chain that's rattling against the housing.

Ok, I'll give it a try, but haven't tired it yet. I don't expect it to be anything major. As soon as I start the car, there is a rattle, yet then goes away for just a tad bit, then comes back, sometimes goes away again. But most of the time it's constant. Very low rattle - nothing too loud or crazy. Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it.
