Engine misfire

Developed a severe misfire while on a trip. Checked COP and injectors with multi-meter. All within spec. Found bad front coolant crossover and replaced intake manifold and thermostat. All spark plug bores in head are clean. Still have misfire. Compression test shows 150 - 160 psi. OBD11 scanner shows P0308 cylinder eight misfire. Can find nothing in particular wrong with cylinder eight.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Try this. Switch the coil from cylinder eight with one from a different cylinder and see if the misfire changes cylinders.

Let me know what you find.
