Two weeks ago Ford replaced 02 sensor. Engine light has come back on, code says po131 low voltage sensor #1 bank1. Can I drive it until I get home about six hundred miles? Runs fine just light on.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

The low voltage could be the result of a corroded, damaged, or loose connection. It should be okay to drive. However, fuel mileage may be off. This system may run rich.

I attached a picture for you to review. It is a diagnostic flow chart for this code. Take a look and see if you can check some of the things mentioned. Make sure no wires to the sensor have melted and shorted.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe

Please make sure the condensation from the A/C drain is not dripping on this sensor. I have seen many sensors go bad rapidly due to this.
