Engine shuts off while driving at slow speed and stopped

Well the engine light came on, it meant that the computer had detected some sort of issue and stored a fault code, which would essentially tell us where to look. You can get the fault codes pulled at the local auto parts store if you can get there. If you cannot get there, you can buy an OBD2 scanner from the store. Or you can get one from Amazon. I would not suggest buying any of the wireless/Bluetooth ones, as they do not work right half of the time. Either way, get it scanned and get the code number(s) to us and we'll look it up and go from there.

I brought the car to local Mitsubishi dealer yesterday and they helped me to scan the faulty codes and they found there were three codes showing including oxygen sensor. I could not see the codes but they said it shows the issue.

After further discussing with them, they could figure out that cause for the problem was my car battery went drained a day before this happens and I change the battery. during the battery replacement the ECU data has been corrupted or erased. Once reset the ECU data it is all fine now. :)
