I cant get this car to pass, I took it to a garage and he told me it needs a new cyclinder around 1500 Just want to know if it is worth it or trade it in

What a vehicle e is worth is strictly up to you if you put themoney into it you know what you have but being a 14 yr old car something else will break and how many miles are on it now.

I can't make that decision for you is the car in ok condition or a piece of crap can you afford a new car and insurance costs?
It's 14 yrs old parts will continue to break down.

MINE ARE ALMOST 70 AND 39 YEARS OLD, THINGS BREAK, I FIX 'EM. I HAVE SPENT WAY LESS THAN $3000 IN THE LAST 10 YEARS FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE/ TIRES/ REPAIRS FOR THE BOTH OF 'EM. YOUR DECISION WILL BE INFLUENCED BY HOW MUCH YOU TRULY LOVE YOUR RIG!

THAT FIGURE MIGHT BE EQUAL TO LESS THAN 10 MISERABLE CAR PAYMENTS!
